01 / CAPTURE

A notation, not a transcript.

When a ChatGPT page displays a complete MNEME marker, the extension captures its subject, cue and explanation. It does not upload conversation histories or contact a server.

02 / INSTALL

One release.
Multiple browsers.

01 — EXTRACT

Download the ZIP and extract it into a stable folder. Keep the folder: unpacked extensions depend on these files remaining in place.

02 — CHROMIUM, BRAVE, EDGE

Open the browser’s Extensions page, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.

03 — FIREFOX

Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, choose Load Temporary Add-on, then select manifest.json from the Firefox compatibility ZIP (extract it first). Firefox removes temporary installs on restart; persistent installation requires a signed extension release.

04 — USE & TRANSFER

Open the floating MNEME control on ChatGPT to search captures, copy blind prompts, reveal original definitions and compare reconstructions. Export JSON for backup. Cross-browser import and synchronization are not yet available.

Inspect before installing.

This is an unpacked extension: all source code is readable inside the ZIP. Capture is limited to explicit Unicode-delimited entries on supported AI sites.
